About Us
We’re therapists. We’re friends. We love to travel, explore and connect with new people.
We know firsthand that being a therapist can feel isolating and overwhelming. That’s why we created Therapist Renew - a space where therapists can recharge, learn and build real connections with peers who understand the journey.

Meet The Team

Lisa Bell
RP/Clinical Director
Lisa Bell is a registered psychotherapist based in Ontario who specializes in trauma and grief
therapy. With a compassionate, client-centered approach, Lisa helps individuals navigate life’s
most difficult experiences, supporting them as they process loss, rebuild resilience, and
reconnect with a sense of meaning and hope.
Drawing on evidence-based therapeutic practices and years of clinical experience, Lisa creates a safe and supportive space where people feel seen, heard, and empowered in their healing journey. Lisa has accumulated 62 hours in trauma certification, 52 hours of sex therapy training and 47 hours of grief certification. Lisa also sits on the Board of Directors for the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association NCR Chapter. In addition to her clinical work, Lisa is
certified clinical supervisor; mentoring and supporting other therapists in developing their skills and confidence in practice. She is the owner of a growing group psychotherapy practice, where she is committed to fostering a collaborative, ethical, and supportive environment for both clinicians and clients.
Outside the therapy room, Lisa has a deep love of travel and cultural exploration. She believes
that stepping into new environments and shared experiences can open the door to reflection,
connection, and personal growth. This passion for travel and bringing people together is what
inspired Lisa’s involvement in retreat experiences—creating spaces where participants can slow
down, connect with others, and rediscover themselves in meaningful ways.
At retreats, Lisa combines therapeutic insight with a warm, grounded presence, helping
participants feel supported as they explore new perspectives, build connections, and enjoy the
restorative power of being in a new place together.
